Metro Craft

Hey,

I'm realy bored and have a lot of freetime. So guess what. I will start a server again. Hope it won't fail like some months ago when I had my final exams and noone realy helped me out. But since I'm now done with school I might actually pull it off this time. It will be Server with two maps. The first one will be the spawn town where people can buy plots and build in these. Monsters won't spawn in this world. The second one will be a farm world which will be resetted after some time. In this one monsters will of course spawn. Might add PVP in this world if people want me to.

I'm sorry, but I will have to reset all your ranks since I don't know who will be active (if this 'project' will be a success at all). However, I will add a veteran rank for all of you loyal players and old friends which allows you to build everywhere in the spawn world and maby give you permission to teleport and stuff like discounts since I trust you guys.

I will rent a four slot server for the next month in the coming days. Help is very welcome. And as you might have already guessed, I'm looking for ops which are over the age of 18, have a lot of experince in managing a server and are good builders.

Man I realy miss the old times. But Minecraft isn't realy the same anymore like back in the days. It went downhill after the 1.8 beta (still waiting for mp modsupport, anticheat, etc. :mad:). The world generator is boring and people seem to care much more about this rpg shit instead of building. At least the last time I played.

But who knows. Maby I will try to host one more time (last time failed miserably). I have three months left. Is there still anyone out there who checks this site sometimes?

Alright. I rent a four slot server for one month. Let's see if I will finish it this time. Last time (1-2 years ago) I failed at the market. Oh and I'm sorry about that failed ressurection 5 months ago. There was no bukkit update and after ages of waiting I didn't care anymore. Of course, as I installed this server, there was, again, no bukkit update for the latest version 1.7.9. So right now the server runs on 1.7.2. But that's no catastrophe since, first of all, I'm just building the spawn and the plots and second, I don't think many (or more likely noone at all) will read this post anyway.

I have made some progress. Build spawn, hopefully more than enough plots for the beginning and addded a Farmworld. Installed Chestshops, AntiXray, Craftbook, SimpleRegionMarket and some more. Some minigames like Spleef or Mobarena will be next. Still have to build a Shop and an Arena.

I wonder if I should allow pvp in the Farmworld or not. And I have no Idea how much one Plot should cost.

Server will stay four slots until launch or in the unlikely event that more than four people from the old days want to play on it at the same time.

Alright. At least two got the mail. Hope others will join the party soon. I wish BSXD's homepage was still up. Shop and prices are done. The admin shop doesn't sell much items. That's because I don't want the server to become freebuild. You will still have to check by the Farmworld if you need something specific. But I can change that anytime if people want me to.

Players will join as guests and don't have acccess to the econemy, instant tree cutdown, tpa and more until they register. They will be autopromoted as soon as they take free Welcome pack and get a free diamond pickaxe and 1k as a bonus. The new homepage has pretty much all features from the old ones only better.
